Privacy Policy

BitkiDoktoru ("the app") helps you diagnose your plants with AI and plan their care. This policy explains what data we process, why, and your rights. Data controller: Dode Yazılım — contact: iletisim@dodeyazilim.com.

Data we collect

Account info	Email address and display name (sign in with email, Google, or Apple). We never store passwords; authentication is handled by Supabase Auth.
Plant photos	Photos you take for diagnosis and AI doctor chat. Diagnosis and chat photos are automatically deleted after 30 days; photos you add to your plant library are kept until you delete them.
Plant & care data	Plants you add, diagnosis results, care logs, reminders, journal notes, and wishlist.
Location (optional)	If you allow it, approximate location/region for climate-based care tips. The app works without location.
Notification token	Device push token to send watering/care reminders (if you opt in).
Technical data	Crash reports and basic, anonymous usage analytics to improve the app.

How we use data

Generate plant diagnoses and AI doctor responses (your photo and message are processed).
Manage your plant library, care calendar, and reminders.
Create and secure your account and manage subscription status.
Keep the app stable and improve it (crash/analytics).

Third-party services

Your data is shared only with these providers to deliver the service:

Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage (EU region).
OpenAI — photos/text you send for diagnosis and AI doctor chat are processed. OpenAI does not use this content to train models (API usage).
RevenueCat — to manage subscription/purchase status.
Expo / push service — to deliver notifications.

We do not sell or rent your data for advertising. We do not run ads or behavioral tracking (no IDFA/advertising ID).

Retention

Diagnosis and chat photos are deleted after 30 days. Other account data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, all your personal data is permanently removed.

Your rights (GDPR / KVKK)

Access & export: In the app, Settings → "Export my data" gives you all your data as JSON.
Deletion: Settings → "Delete my account" permanently removes your account and all data.
Correction / objection: Email iletisim@dodeyazilim.com to correct your data or object to processing.

Children's privacy

BitkiDoktoru is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you in-app of significant changes.
